How to unlock laptop without password ?
Introduction :
In this article we are going to see how to unlock laptop using a pendrive as a password reset disk, incase if we forget our password, this trick will make you get rid out of that.
This method only works on the laptop in which you are creating the password reset disk.
Warning :
With this pendrive anyone can unlock the laptop, be careful with that drive and store it safe and securely.
Process :
This method is going to work based on our microsoft account credentials
STEP - 1 : First login your miscrosoft account in your laptop
STEP - 2 : Take a pendrive of any kind, format that drive for safety purpose
STEP - 3 : Plug in to your laptop for which you are going to make the pendrive as a master key
STEP - 4 : Go to control panel
STEP - 5 : Search for create a password reset disk
STEP - 6 : A wizard will open then click next
STEP - 7 : Then select the pendrive that you have inserted
STEP - 8 : Then insert your microsoft account password not local password
STEP - 9 : Then click finish
STEP - 10 : Your pendrive is ready like a master key for your laptop
STEP - 11 : If you forget your local laptop password
STEP - 12 : Then insert the pendrive in your laptop
STEP - 13 : Wait for two mins to make the laptop detect the pendrive
STEP - 14 : Then try two or three wrong password
STEP - 15 : Then click reset password
STEP - 16 : A popup will open
STEP - 17 : There you can set your new password and hint without inserting your old password
